Object 01

A Charitable & Social Trust

Established as a public charitable and social trust, registered at Bangalore.

  • The objects of the Trust shall be Charitable and Social in nature. The Trust shall be situated at Bangalore, and the Board of Trustees may shift the registered office to any other place as and when they decide to do so. (Object 1)
Object 02

Educational & Vocational Institutions

Establish institutions teaching Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Medicine and allied fields.

  • To establish with the State of Karnataka educational and vocational institutions for teaching Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Medical, Ayurvedic, Unani, B.Ed., C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., T.C.H., coaching, All India Services / K.A.S. / banking training centres and any other recognised study — including universities, boards and autonomous bodies. (Object 2)

Awareness of Constitutional Rights

Create awareness among the Scheduled Castes of their constitutional rights and governmental safeguards.

  • To create an awareness among the Scheduled Castes regarding their constitutional rights and Governmental safeguards. (Object 3)
Object 04

Socio-Economic Upliftment

The Chief Aim — ameliorating the socio-economic and educational conditions of the Scheduled Castes and others.

  • The Chief Aim of the Trust is ameliorating the socio-economic and educational conditions of Scheduled Caste people in particular and others in general. (Object 4)
Object 05

Welfare of Members

Promote the welfare of members and achieve the objects of the Trust across India.

  • Whereas the Constitution has guaranteed certain rights to Scheduled Caste people, the persons of Karnataka State belonging to the Scheduled Caste have decided to form this Trust to promote the welfare of its members and achieve the objectives enunciated in the objects of the Trust. The jurisdiction of the Trust covers all of India, with its office at Bangalore. (Object 5)

Orphanages & Destitute Homes

Orphanages, widow homes and destitute homes for the down-trodden and needy members of society.

  • For orphanage, destitute home (Vidhavashrama and Wrudhashrama) and other centres for the down-trodden and needy members of the Society. (Object 6)
Object 07

Spiritual & Cultural Centres

Found and support spiritual, cultural, study, research centres and autonomous colleges.

  • To found, construct, maintain, support, assist or grant aids or subscriptions to spiritual and cultural centres, spiritual / cultural / social discourses, agricultural, sociological, political, historical and cultural study centres, research centres and autonomous colleges. (Object 7)
Object 08

Scholarships & Stipends

Stipends, medals, prizes, scholarships and aid; books free of cost or at concessional rates, without profit motive.

  • To give stipends, medals, prizes, scholarships, travelling expenses, allowances and monetary aids to students, scholars and teachers and schools in India; supply of books and other requirements free of cost or at concessional rates, rendering assistance without any profit motive; and to confer title on persons who have rendered yeoman services representing the objects of this Trust. (Object 8)

Endowments at Universities

Grant endowments at universities, research and scientific institutions for the spread of knowledge.

  • Grant of endowments at Universities, Research Institutions and other Educational and Scientific Institutions for the spread of education and knowledge in all or any branches of knowledge. (Object 9)
Object 10

Schools, Colleges & Hostels

Open, found and maintain schools, colleges, hostels, libraries, residential schools, nursery schools and balwadis.

  • To open, found, construct, establish, take over, equip, promote, conduct, maintain, support, subsidise, grant aid and make donations to schools, colleges, pathashalas, hostels, working women's hostels, reading clubs, libraries, art / music / literary societies and other educational institutions and associations; residential schools for boys / girls, nursery schools, balwadis, community centres etc. (Object 10)
Object 11

Higher Education & Research

Encourage higher education and research in Engineering, Medicine, Law, Ph.D., Horticulture, Agriculture and modern science.

  • Assisting in the promotion of research and development in various fields and / or undertaking, prosecuting and encouraging higher education and research work in any branch of Engineering / Medical / Law / Ph.D., Horticulture, Agriculture or any other branch of modern science in its widest and most comprehensive sense. (Object 11)

Dharmashalas & Public Parks

Erect and maintain dharmashalas, poor houses and public parks.

  • To erect and maintain Dharmashalas, poor houses, public parks etc. (Object 12)
Object 13

Dispensaries & Hospitals

Build, equip, maintain and grant aid to dispensaries, maternity homes and hospitals.

  • To build, equip, take over, conduct, maintain and grant aids to dispensaries, maternity homes, hospitals or any other institutions of the like nature. (Object 13)

Help for the Distressed

  • Spreading education, knowledge and learning in all its branches by way of publication of newspapers, periodicals, books, magazines, conducting lectures, seminars, conferences, coaching classes and in any other manner not involving the making of profit. (Object 17)

Music, Drama & Fine Arts

Promote music, drama, dance and the fine arts, and establish institutions for training in these fields.

  • To promote music, drama, dance and other fine arts and / or to establish institutions for propagation and implementation, training in these fields and to render assistance to students in the foregoing fields. (Object 18)
Object 19

Disaster & Calamity Relief

Give relief during famines, floods, earthquakes, pestilence, fire and other natural calamities.

  • To give relief by subscriptions or otherwise — during famines, floods, earthquake, pestilence, fire or any other natural calamities. (Object 19)
Object 20

Other Charitable Objects

Subscribe to such other charitable objects, temples and places of archaeological or artistic importance.

  • To subscribe to such other charitable objects as the trustees may deem proper, provided the donees are recognised under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and / or for temples and places of archaeological or artistic importance as notified under 80(G)(2)(b) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Well-being of Humanity

Promote the well-being of humanity — shelter, food, clothing, peace and happiness for all.

  • To promote the well-being of humanity by establishing or assisting the formation of, aiding or supporting humanitarian institutions; to start, encourage, promote or support the social and economic interest of the people of the world and unite them so as to best ensure proper shelter, food and clothing as well as peace and happiness of humanity at large. (Object 21)

Incidental & Necessary Acts

Carry out all acts incidental or necessary to promote the aforementioned objects, with special reference to the Scheduled Castes.

  • To carry out all such acts and things which are incidental or necessary for the promotion of the aforementioned objects, with special reference to Scheduled Caste and others in general. (Object 22)

Temples & Community Buildings

Construct, renovate and expand temples, bhajana mandirs, kalyana mantapas and community centres.
